BB3. No ID. Rare collection of 5 Boudoir Card Photographs (5 1/4" x 8 1/2") of candid scenes at Buffalo Bill's ranch, Scout's Rest, in North Platte, Nebraska. On the back of the first image is written "Black Knight," referring to the name of the horse that Bill is holding. The second image shows Buffalo Bill in the wagon with pencilled caption on back "Ben Thompson. Edw. Bradford. Brother in law of Cody, Husband of May Cody." The caption on the back of the third image is "Jack Roster (Diamond Dick). On the fourth "Nat Patrick. 1. Sweet Mazora. 2. Bonnie Jean." And on Bill's ranch all of the cows had names as indicated on the back of the fifth boudoir card image: "1. Miss Wintercut?. 2. Bonnie Jean. 3. Young Formosa. 4. Little Cleveland. 5. Mary Anderson. 6. Miss Ray. 7. Wood Pidgeon." This is a rare and likely unique collection of Buffalo Bill images. $2400
