BI3. Sixth plate Tintype of a man with a high wheel bicycle. When I removed this image from its case I found that it was backed with a blank Daguerreotype plate. First time I've seen a daguerreotype plate used for that purpose. I've left it where I found it. Housed in a split leather case. VG. $300

BITT1. Bigden, Ferrotyper, Chicago, IL. Image measures about 6" x 4 1/2" (half-plate) in slightly larger paper mat. Great image of dapper, mustachioed gent, in cap with bicycle. On back is written "Jnot. Gray, nov. 2nd/96." VG. $150
