This image is from the estate of the renowned aviator John Miller of Poughkeepsie, who passed away in the Spring of 2008 at the age of 102. On the back of the image is written "Poughkeepsie Airport Oct. 1931. Office at side of Hangar. Frank Bleau and "Nip" at door." A motorcycle waits by the building. The other 2 Photographs, one measuring 5 1/4" x 3 1/8, the other 3" x 5" have typed information on the backs as follows. First image: "Broaches for sizing round holes, examples of the work & gages, together with the broaching press used, De Laval Separator Co., Poughkeepsie, N.Y., 4/24/10." It is "good" and will not keep you awake nights." Very cute message. This pc is copyright 1904 by H.H. Tammen, Denver and is no. 3435. The second card is, appropriately, 3439. Indian Papoose. Bin424. BASEBALL GAME IN ACTION. Image measuring 3 1/8" x 5 3/8" of a group of kids playing baseball in a tree-lined street. The pitcher is winding up, kid on first about to run, batter all set. Mount measures 5 1/4" x 7 3/8." Fair. $6.50

Bin427. POMPEII ITALY COLLECTION of 7 Velox Stereoviews of Pompeii Italy. These full-size stereoviews (3.5" x 7") are on Velox photographic paper and not mounted on cardboard. They come from the estate of Capt. John Miller, a pioneer aviator who lived in Dutchess County, NY and passed away at the age of 102 in 2008. I believe that these were taken by him on his family's European trips in the early part of the 20th century. VG. $15
